Buchanan Community Schools
A Special meeting of the Board of Trustees of Buchanan Community Schools will be held
November 26, 2019, beginning at 6:30 PM at Buchanan High School Auditorium.
The subjects to be discussed or considered or upon which any formal action may be taken are as
listed below. Items do not have to be taken in the order shown on this meeting notice.
A. OPENING OF MEETING BY PRESIDENT
We welcome you to a special meeting of the Buchanan Community Schools Board of
Education.
All regular meetings have been posted on our district website, in our central office,
and in each district school building. Please be sure you have picked up a copy of this
evening’s agenda and a Board of Education Inquiry Form if necessary. Our school
board members receive the agenda and all supporting documents for reports and
action items several days prior to this scheduled meeting, so they can review
information, prepare questions or comments, and are ready to participate fully in
the discussions and votes that encompass the duties of their office. Board members
follow the agenda and review related documents on their devices throughout the
duration of the meeting.
This meeting is a special meeting of the Board of Education in public for the purpose
of conducting the School District’s business and is not to be considered a public
community meeting.
There is a time for regular public participation during the meeting as indicated in
agenda item E. If you wish to make presentation to the Board during agenda item E,
please fill out the Board of Education Inquiry Form and pass it to the Board
President or Superintendent before Item E on the agenda.
