A Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees of Buchanan Community Schools will be
held August 11, 2019, beginning at 11:00 AM at BHS–Board Conference Room.
The subjects to be discussed or considered or upon which any formal action may be taken are as
listed below. Items do not have to be taken in the order shown on this meeting notice.
A. OPENING OF MEETING BY PRESIDENT
“We welcome you to a meeting of the Buchanan Community Schools Board of Education. All regular
meetings have been posted on our district website, in our central office, and in each district
school building. Please be sure you have picked up a copy of this evening’s agenda and a Board of
Education Inquiry Form if necessary. This meeting is a meeting of the Board of Education in public
for the purpose of conducting the School District’s business and is not to be considered a public
community meeting. There is a time for public participation during the meeting as indicated in
agenda item F. If you wish to make presentation to the Board, please fill out the Board of
Education Inquiry Form and pass it to the Board President or Superintendent before Item F. on the
agenda.”
